Half sleeve traditional japanese style dragon tattoo. How much?

Prepared to pay for top quality work.

How traditional? Some American takes on the classic Japanese style tend to use more colors & deeper tones, and that takes longer & therefore more costly. This isn’t a dis on the style, just a commentary. I’ve heard that, just like with American style pizza having become popular in Italy, that style change has made it’s way back to Japan and is gaining a loyal following there.

Expect to pay ~$1k for a half-sleeve, maybe a little less if you do gray/shaded water and clouds or other background art. A shaded/grayscale dragon versus fully colored should also make the work cheaper.

I’d also guess ~10 hours of work, so 3-5 sessions at an assumed $100/hour.
