How Not To End Up With A Laser Beam Being Pointed At You
These are not temporary tattoos. This is the REAL thing! Before you go jumping into unnecessary adventures – here are a few concentrated tips. Don’t forget, no compromising for less then a perfect tattoo!!!
Be creative. Be original. Find out what is the exact meaning of your selected tattoo design.
Don’t rush, take the time and come prepared.
“ Phone rings, I answer it “XYZ Tattoo Studio, how may I help you?” Customer says “You do tattoos there?”
Or “How much is a medium rose” How much is a blue car? What is medium? What kind of rose?
A friend had a gal run into her shop, scanning the walls she yelled out, “Help me pick out my tattoo, my bus is coming soon”

Look at the design for some time just to be sure; visualize yourself with it on you (also in the future), Its important – you are about to become close friends.
Make sure that the size will fit the spot chosen and that the colors will complement your skin complexion.

Find a tattoo artist that you will trust. Be sure to see prior work, talk to people, don’t be shy – this is not the time! Look at the studio – is it licensed? Clean? Sterile? Do the search, choosing a random place could end up bad.
“Skin infections from tattoos don’t happen very often. Most tattoo artists in the U.S. take precautions to prevent infection, including sterilizing equipment, wearing gloves, and using new inks and needles for every customer.
However, infection risk increases…”

Eating before hand will surely help, you shouldn’t fill disturbed by other things.
Avoid alcohol, it thins the blood and most probably will have an affect on the process and the results (bleeding more throughout the process and “pushing” the color out), not to mention the lack of judgment. Drugs are also not recommended – if you use them you should know why.
The healing process takes up to a month (first stage is 4-5 days) consult your tattoo artist about any lotions that you can use and ask for a list of care instructions. You should know up front if you are allergic to any substances/ creams.
