Does a tattoo on you hand between thumb and index finger have a specific meaning?
I want to get the Nautical Star tattooed on my left hand between my thumb and index finger. But I herd that if you have a tattoo in that spot it means you are in a gang or went to prison or you killed someone. What exactly does that position mean if anything? None of those things apply to me I just think it’s a cool place.
I am actually researching tattoos and how they affect different cultures right now for my term paper. Yes a tattoo between the thumb and index finger signifies that you are in a gang. It can mean just what gang you are, how many people you have killed or how many years you spent in prison.

I’ve never heard of a particular meaning behind it, unless its a certain symbol, but you should really think about the professionalism of this, I have an entire back piece on my back, but I don’t have any tats that’d show at work or anything, except the one I got on my neck when I was a teen!!!! So really think it through, but I’ve never heard of an actual affiliation, just implied, my ex-hubby was in prison, and did have tats on his fingers and hands……hehe.
