How much do tattoos actually cost? is their a standard price?

I want to get a black dragon tribal tattoo on my arm. From the shoulder to the elbow and make it wraped\d around. How much do you think it will cost for that? Also how much do tattoos cost? is their a set price already or do they charge per hour?

There really is no set price. You can expect to pay any where from $65 to $120 an hour, if charged by the hour. You piece will be a quoted price because of the size. Probably looking between $250 and $350, just depending on how crazy you go with it. You can kind of "haggle" with most artists, but the lower the price goes, the less work you will get done. Do your research. Don’t go into the shop just because it is around the corner from your house, check out allot of different artists in your area, someone may specialize in exactly what you want. This is going to be with you for the rest of your life, make it a good one.
