What is a good meaning behind getting a peace sign as a tattoo?

I want to get a peace sign tattoo but i want to have a good meaning behind my decision to get a peace sign. Does anyone have really good reasons why you would get a peace sign as a tattoo?

No offense, but you can "find meaning" from some random person on the internet. Just because you make up some bull-shit meaning behind it, doesn’t actually make it have significance to you.

BTW, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with getting a tattoo just because you think it’s cute. Go for it and screw the "meaning" behind it.

I probably wouldn’t get one because that’s just me. But having a peace sign in your skin shows that you believe in peace and all that stuff
Which probably means people could like you a little better ;)

Weird. If I gave you a ‘good meaning’ it wouldn’t be a good meaning anymore because it really wouldn’t have any meaning. You’re a complete idiot. Obviously you don’t really have a reason for getting it. Just tell people the truth – it doesn’t mean anything and that you just think it’s super cute.

    I hate you.

Well, the answer’s in the question – it’s a sign of peace. If you agree with the concept of peace then get it done – if you don’t, don’t. I don’t really understand what you’re asking – it’s common sense!

You’ve got to find your own meaning for a tattoo. And please don’t get one just because you think it’s cute unless you’re going to think it’s cute for pretty much the rest of your life.

I’m getting a peace sign up behind my ear because of what people have said about me…LOL

How about because you want it? That should be good enough.

You should change your approach….start with the meaning then choose an image that represents what you would like to convey. For example…i enjoy nature, so I have a few little cartoon bugs tattooed on my ankle..
