Is a Tribal Butterfly Tattoo a good tattoo?
I have 2 butterfly tattoos already…a rebel flag butterfly on my shoulder and a simple one on my ankle…is a BIG tribal butterfly on my lower back a good choice or is it dumb?
"tribal" anything is overdone, meaningless and well…lame.
no one should get tribal unless they are getting true tribal/neo-tribal work which would link them to a real tribe or culture.
also a "tribal" butterfly is the epitome of tramp stamps. i hate the term tramp stamps because not all tattoos should be labeled as such, nor all girls labeled as tramps. BUT, if you ever want to know how that term came to be… …well see how common tribal butterfly on the lower back is.

honestly I think that lower back tattoo’s are not appealing at all. Any tattoo there i think does not look good. It could be beautiful work its all about the spot. A tribal butterfly sounds cool. But You might wanna try a different spot….but that is my opinion. Good luck with you decision its your body not anyones elses…so dont let us decide for you:)

Sounds like butterflies are your thing. I think tribal butterflies are a bit overdone by those who go and get any old tattoo just to say they have one; But because it seems to be your trademark, I’d say go for it if it’s what you like. I’m sure it will be beautiful.

we can’t tell you whether it’s a "good tattoo" or not
that’s an opinion thing
and since it’s your body…..yours is the only opinion that should matter
I hate overdone/trendy tattoos
and combining tribal with a butterfly is like multiplying Trendy x Overdone
….then you throw in the whole Lower Back thing………
I would really dislike it (understatement)
but again……why should the opinions of strangers matter?

its good if it speaks to you.. but it it only looks cool pls don’t do it,
a tattoo should hold meaning it is on your body for life. from what i head removal is expensive and painful..
