butterfly tattoos – meaning????
I’ve seen countless women that have these butterfly tattoos on the small of their back usually or around the neck and shoulder area.
Is there any meaning to that or is it just something to look pretty?
Butterflies are extremely feminine!! And FREE!
I got my first tat a month ago and the artist was trying to talk me into a butterfly. I personally said no bc there are other meanings for it. ;}
I think for most girls it represents "girlie"! They are sooo cute too!

I have a butterfly on my lower back, which I got the day after I turned 18. Mostly it’s just to look pretty and fun, but I would also say that to me it symbolizes growing up, changing, and becoming independant. Now I’m 20 and soon plan on adding tribal designs and/or flowers to my butterfly. I love my tattoo!

Well ever since Wedding Crashers, I’ve heard many call it a Tramp Stamp when you have a butterfly on the small of your back. Personally I think they are pretty but they are such a cliche it’s way to common.
