i am looking to get a chinese character tattooed and i have done some research on the internet and found some stuff but i am not sure if the images i got are the real character/meaning.

I also would like some advice on where to put it (for a guy). I already got 3, one celtic around my left ankle, a gecko on my right angle and another celtic on my left shoulder blade

Well, like the above answers said, many of the characters are wrong in the sense of meaning. I suggest you ask fellow Chinese person for their advise, and you know, you don’t have to just stick to one character, you can use a proverb, it’ll have more meaning.

The best recommendation i can give you for a website with Chinese proverbs (and their meanings) is this following site:

It’s wise of you to ask for advice. My American teacher said that he saw a very strong big man tattoo a Chinese character which means GIRL .Vice verse, some Chinese girls wearing T-shirts with the English word vamp and showing around.
