No, that’s not true. The only meaning a tattoo has is to you. Just like a guy having his left ear pierced doesn’t make him gay and a girl having the "tramp stamp" (commonly used horrible name) tattoo, lower back, doesn’t make her a tramp. So many retarded rumors and stereo types …

Ignore all that, its stupid BS. Don’t you remember when if a guy had i think it was his right ear pierced he was gay? all a bunch of crap, tattoo is art on your skin, placement doesn’t mean anything. Now if your a loser in a gang and your loser gang friends decide "Hey if you have a tattoo of this here then your in are gang" or something stupid like that, then yea it means something, but really in all actuality… the only people who think stuff like that are stupid closed minded incompetent morons. Its almost as dumb as saying if you lace your shoe laces up with the string from the inside of your foot going over the string coming from the outside of your foot then you **INSERT STUPID IDEA HERE**

So really I guess my point is just that no, there are no meanings as far as location are concerned unless you’re an idiot. The actual tattoo itself is the thing that carries the meaning.

Oh and in response to some of the other answers about lower back tattoos, yes they do get names like tramp-stamps, but again..stupid people. there are quite a few people who generalize lower back tattoos with sluts and people who like to get around, but really, its all stupid bull s… There are more people that sleep around without tattoos than ones with lower back tattoos that sleep around, and in fact a know a lot of girls with lower back tattoos (including my girlfriend) that are the farthest thing from a slut. So again, no placement has no meaning, just stupid people with stupid ideas.
